The Engine

This is the engine as it was when collecting from the breakers yard. Its out of a 2001 Ford Focus and is a 2ltr Zetec - R or EVO3 engine. You can tell this from the black cam cover and the fact that Focus's only ever had the new EVO3 engines in them. For a the details of the Zetec history mwstewart has a lot of info.

This is the Webcon Alpha Gold Kit throttle bodies and ECU that I will be fitting in due course. This is to replace the standard ford fuel injection and engine management system and will boost the power output from the standard 130Bhp to at least 165Bhp. It will also allow for much easier tuning further down the line.
